“WASS PRODUCTIONS” was formed as an integrated business in August 1997 and has sighted these opportunities to offer the musician and filmmaker a personalised and helpful post-production service.
PETER WASS, sole proprietor and creative specialist is a proven and recognised music composer and drama editor/director. The business centres on cost effective services in digital video editing, movie theme composing, audio production and camera work.
Examples of work include music demos, short and feature films, promotional and corporate videos. Peters career background spans 25 years as a musician, songwriter and audio technician. Over the last 8 years, he has completed 4 self-written movie projects including
1 feature length film and has worked extensively on outside films.
Credits: ‘IN THE COLD’ (feature film 90min drama), ‘BORN LOSER’ (award winning film 35min comedy), ‘THE PHOTOGRAPHER’ (short film 7min comedy) and ‘ANSWER ME’ (short film 14min experimental drama).
‘THE PHOTOGRAPHER’ was an entry in Tropfest film festival and has received good reviews. ‘BORN LOSER’ received awards for Best Original Music and Best Female Actor at the 1996 Sydney Video and Film Awards.
He is currently re-scripting his original work on a feature film script originally developed in 2004. NAFA occupied him in 2004 Directing the film "Babes" for their "Action Fest" Film Festival which was chosen as a finalist in that festival. In the meantime he is keeping busy with his Music.

Peter began composing original songs back in 1986 and soon after became a full writer member of the Australasian Performing Rights Association. He has also played and toured with various original bands. 1994 saw him graduate from Creative Options School of Songwriting in Sydney. Following this milestone, he self-produced his first CD titled ‘On Some Other Day’ which contains 14 of his best tracks. With the release of the film ‘IN THE COLD’ in 1995 came the realisation of his talents as a screen music composer. This has led to his active involvement in writing screen music for over 12 independent films in Sydney. The business operates from beautiful sunny Randwick and uses some of the best high-tech digital equipment available today.
